The lawful basis for processing of personal data is that it is a necessary component for any enquires made by potential future tenants and for the purpose entering a contract. The exchange of information between the tenants and Landlord is deemed confidential. This information will not be disclosed to any third party and your personal information will only be available to the members of the OVO house management and information exchanged with potential tenants/tenants via any modalities, but not limited to email/phone calls/messages, will be used for the purpose of communicating, informing, and assisting the tenants or potential tenants. Any information shared with third parties regarding the carrying out our services based upon the information shared, will strictly be with the tenant’s consent.
Tenant data will not be disclosed to any third party; however, OVO House may process any information about any alleged commission or commissioned criminal offence, in which case OVO House may report this to the police or any other relevant authority including university administrators. A disclosure of this nature is based off the need for administration of justice strictly. Additionally, for tenants of OVO house, your personal information may be released to the council, such as name and duration of stay with the local authority for the purposes of council tax administration.
In the circumstance that there is any outstanding money owed to OVO House, including outstanding costs for damages made to any of the OVO House premises, will result in the disclosure of your personal details to debt collection that are acting on behalf of OVO House, for the purpose of recovering funds owed. Any disclosure that are of this nature is of based on OVO House’s legitimate interests. OVO House are responsible to protect this data and store securely. Any data that is collected is for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
We collect information from our customers in the form of emails, in person meeting, on telephone conversation and in any other form convenient and agreed with customer. We carry out our services based on the data and requirements we have collected from our customers with their consent, Adequate; relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
